What you’ll need:

3 cups corn meal

3 cups buttermilk

3 cups flour

1.5 cups of sugar

6 eggs

1.5 cups of melted butter

1.5 cups of honey

3 tbs of baking powder

What to do:

  1. Preheat your BBQ to 325°F

  2. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl (except the baking powder) and with a large spoon mix them together. Then add the baking powder and mix until smooth.

  3. Grease a 12x20” pan (with extra butter or canola oil). Add cornbread mix to the pan.

  4. Put on your BBQ for about 1 hour (top rack if it has one). It’s done when it isn’t jiggling anymore, and your probe comes out clean after poking the bread.

  5. Let cook and dig in.
